the Man who was worth three billion (France) or the Man of six million dollars (Quebec) ( The Six Million Dollar Man ) is a Televised series American of Science-fiction in 99 episodes 50 minutes and 6 telefilms, created by Kenneth Johnson and diffused between the January 16th 1974 and the March 6th 1978 on the network ABC. In France, the series was diffused starting from the January 11th 1975 on Antenne 2.

Synopsis

Colonel Steve Austin belongs to the astronauts to have walked on the the Moon. Several months after, become again test pilot for NASA, during the test in flight of a new jet, Steve Austin at the time of a crash landing cannot avoid the crash landing of its apparatus. Seriously wounded, certain parts of its body, the right-hand man, the legs and the left eye, are replaced by prostheses Bioniques which improve its performances considerably. It can consequently run much more quickly, to see much further, to raise loads much heavier.

It becomes thus a secret agent for the OSI (Government Office off Scientific Information - governmental Office of the scientific information), under the direction of Goldman Oscar.
