The Magician
the Magician is a Nouvelle collection K of Dino Buzzati.
Summary
Whereas the narrator returns at his place, tired and depressed, it finds at his place Schiassi, a mysterious man, that one already believes all to have seen. Some say that it is a magician. He inserts always further Buzzati in its depresses, by showing him that its effort of writer is dedicated to the failure, that nowadays, the literature and art in general do not interest anybody any more whereas there are works more and more. But whereas Buzzati is completely abbatu, something crosses the air, which is neither a breath, neither an odor, nor a noise. This soft power awakes the narrator and in him a hope rises. Because it knows from now on that any work of art is what differentiates the man from the animal rest of the world. And completely carried, Buzzati speaks with eloquence when, suddenly, Schiassi cuts it and “ You tell him included/understood. I saw you whether cut down that I came to see you to go up you moral the ”.

Like all the news of the collection, this one is to be placed in a quite precise context. The author says itself that France and Italy (its country of origin) do not conceive art in the same way.
