the Madness of the men ( Vajont - diga LED disonore ) is a Franco-Italian film carried out by Renzo Martinelli, left in 2001.
Synopsis
Italy 1959, in the valley of Vajont, begin work from most dam of Europe.Carlo Semenza, more the great architect of stopping in the world of Società Adriatica Di Elettricità (SADE), carries out the work of its life, assisted by engineer Alberico Biadene responsible for the project, which promises to transform the economy of Italy.
In spite of that, an event of fort bad omen occurred during the construction of the stopping of Vajont, a landslide to the dam Pontesei (having the same geological characteristics), not far from there, causes a wave which carried a workman of the SADE. Other studies showed that the Mount Fake, bordering the lake of the stopping of Vajont, was likely to crumble in the artificial water reserve, which would cause a vague devastator being able to destroy the villages below the stopping.
Only a journalist, Tina Merlin which became aware of the danger well, will do everything to prevent the startup of the stopping, but in spite of that, the stakes economic are enormous, and work will continue…
