the Madness of Héraclès is a Tragédie of Euripide, written towards -416. She reports the murder of the woman and the children of Héraclès.
Euripide brings several important nuances to the Mythe:
- the murder occurs before the douzes work.
- the reason of the douzes work is which will héra which was jealous, made drink a potion has heracles which made it insane, this made killed its wife and her children
The madness of Héraclès is sent by Héra via Iris, goddess of the madness.
