The Love line

the Love line ( Kammerflimmern ) is a German film carried out in 2004 by Hendrik Hölzemann and rewarded by 5 distinctions through Europe during the year 2005.

Synopsis

Paul, alias " Crash" , death of his/her parents in an automobile accident was pilot when he was child. It remained in Crash a gash with the face - and deeper with the heart. The fear of the intimacy made it solitary and melancholic person. Become first-aid worker in a team of SAMU of Cologne, it devotes its life to help the others, making sure that nothing can really reach it. And when it is not on the roads, Crash dreams, of escape, a woman who will give a new direction to her existence. One night it is found face to face with it: it is called November.

Comment

Paradoxically, if " Crash" any contact with the others in its fear of the intimacy flees, its desire to help them, which seems to be the only goal that it finds with its existence, pushes it to approach always more close to them physically and rather crûment confronts it with their reality. It is the meeting of November which will push " Crash" to re-examine its relation with the others.

This meeting is that of two beings " endommagés" by the loss of a close relation, at the same time eager and frightened with the idea to again entrust their love to somebody. The love line also evokes a period of the life at the borders of adolescence and adulthood.

The film is carried by a signed ideal BO Lee Buddah and Blackmail.
