Synopsis

In the County happy the Hobbit Frodon Sacquet lived. When his/her uncle Bilbon share with the retirement by leaving him its magic ring, the problems start. Indeed, the magician Gandalf discovers that it is acted in fact of the ring of Sauron, lord of darkness, that it lost centuries before. Frodon must flee the Comté as fast as possible, because Sauron seeks its ring to find its old capacity.

Learning from Gandalf, close friend, that the ring is in fact the Single Anneau, object of the covetousness of the black lord Sauron, Frodon starts a voyage until Fondcombe. With him leave Samsagace Gamegie (Sam), Meriadoc Brandebouc (Merry) and Peregrin Touque (Pippin). During their long voyage, they meet Large-Not (Aragorn). After many dangers, they arrive at Fondcombe, where the decision is made to start an impossible voyage until in Mordor to destroy the Anneau there. The community is formed then made up of Frodon, Sam, Merry, Pippin, Aragorn, Gandalf, Boromir of Gondor, Legolas prince of the Black Forest and Gimli for the Dwarves. All leave to help the carrier of the Ring in its task.

But large and very powerful Magicien Saroumane wanted the Ring in order to reign on the Ground of the Medium and thus sent of Uruk-hai to destroy the community of the ring. Boromir is sacrificed to allow the escape of the Hobbits.

First film of the trilogy, it is closest to the books. The character of Tom Bombadil is completely retracted. As a whole the Communauté of the Ring had this goal to render comprehensible with the beginner the Ground of the Medium, of what it turned over. Accordingly the film became exposure and kept this side very literary and detailed novel.
