Description

The Legend off Zelda is the first play to use a system of safeguard included in its cartridge. The liberty of action which is given to the player revolutionized the video game, because if its scenario remains linear, freedom of movement is important there. The player can walk in the universe of the play to his own way, without following the linear course imposed by the plays of platform of the time. Indeed, contrary to the latter which adopted a side point of view, the action of The Legend off Zelda is seen top, which makes it possible to the protagonist to exploit as much the vertical plan that the horizontal plane for its displacements. This pleasure of exploration will be for much in the success of the long series of the plays The Legend off Zelda (series) . This characteristic first is, seems it, a reminiscence of the long walks in forest which Shigeru Miyamoto made whereas it was young… it tells in particular that it had fun to visit hollow and caves not far from the parental residence, of the whole days.

History

The Prince of darkness, Ganon, seized Triforce of the Force. The Zelda Princess had Triforce of Wisdom, but, fearing to be captured by Ganon, divided her Triforce into eight parts and dissimulated them with the four corners of the region of Hyrule. It, as it thought it, was then captured by Ganon which wanted to seize Triforce.

Link, having Triforce of Courage, will find the eight parts hidden in eight temples and will save the Zelda Princess.
