Synopsis
Gerard (Gerard Depardieu), follower of motor bike, is engineer in a factory of Creteil (the Valley-of-Marne). Left by his wife Gabrielle (Zouzou), acquired with the theses of MLF, it must raise only its little boy, Pierrot (Benjamin Labonnelie). Constrained to return at his place, following a layoff, it comes to take again his son with the crib and becomes acquainted then with Valerie (Ornella Muti). This beautiful nursery nurse, who was on the point of leaving for Tunisia with Michel (Michel Piccoli), an occasional lover, agrees to come to live, for some time, in the apartment of Gerard, located in a Grand unit of the “new Ville”. Their sensual relations make them forget the character despairing of the environment. The couple is formed. The child is associated with their plays in love. Valerie tests soon for Pierrot of the maternal feelings, then sympathizes with Gabrielle, arrival to visit them, and with Rene, a friend of Gerard. Well quickly Valerie, realizing that it is only one woman as an object for Gerard whose jealousy is accentuated, revolts and refuses. Gerard not accepting this questioning, the conflict is inevitable. To reassure itself on its virility, it in vain tries to allure Benoîte (Giuliana Calandra), a neighbor. After a violent argument with Valerie, it émascule using an electric knife.
