The Last Few Brigs
The Last Few Bricks is an instrumental piece used by Pink Floyd and Roger Waters in the concerts of The Wall , between " Another Brig in the Wall (Share 3) " and " Cruel Goodbye World ".
The song is impromptu, varying each time, but it generally contains passages of " The Happiest Days off Our Lives " , " Don' T Leave Me Now " , " Young Lust " , " Empty Spaces "/" What Shall We Do Now? " , and sometimes even " Breathe " or a impro similar to " Any Color You Like ". She was played on scene time that the wall is entirely built and that Roger Waters does not appear in the last hole of the wall to sing " Cruel Goodbye World " , and the first part of the spectacle does not finish. The longest version of the impro was played the February 7th 1980 with the arena of sports of Los Angeles and lasted more than 13 minutes.
Interesting thing, before the live album did not leave in stores, this " chanson" did not have official title. The song was called " Almost Gone " on some pirate recordings in the concert, but official name — The Last Few Brigs (" The last briques") was not used in the concerts of 1980-81, and was suggested with Roger Waters by their producer James Guthrie during the mixing of Is There Anybody Out There? The Wall Live 1980-81 .
