the Large Newspaper is a French emission diffused in two parts of the Monday to Friday of 19:10 to 19:50 and 20:10 with 20:50 on Canal + presented by Michel Denisot, shouldered by five recurring chroniclers: ARIANE Massenet (media), Laurent Weil (cinema), Tania Bruna-Rosso (music), Jean-Michel Aphatie (édito political every evening and Friday for its prize list of the political week) and Ali Baddou (Literature) like Louise Bourgoin which presents the weather and Yann Barthès with its small newspaper actu and people.
Principle of the emission
Michel Denisot and his team question two to three guests who make the topicality, alternating light sequences, talks, information and subjects. The emission recalls a little in its content Nowhere Elsewhere, but makes it possible four organizers to intervene at the same time, which had never been possible in NPA, Philippe Gildas being more exclusive than Michel Denisot. Following its success of audience growing in 2004-2005, the emission gained 40 minutes additional since September 2005.

Ségolène Royal made it possible the Large Newspaper to beat its historical records on March 8th, 2007. According to the figures of Médiamétrie, 1,6 million televiewers on average followed the first part of the emission, of 19:15 to 20:00 (8,3% of share of audience). Countryside for the presidential election of 2007
So of many candidates took part in the emission, as with other talk shows, the Large Newspaper innovated while proposing to the candidates Francois Bayrou, then Nicolas Sarkozy, Ségolène Royal to become the editor association of the emission for one evening. Thus, each candidate presented " son" emission, choosing its guests and some of the topics approached. It should be noted that each service of the candidates was, in turn, the record of audience of the emission.

Moreover, one title changing every week comes to equip the " coming-next" between the cuts of publicity what caused a great success near the Net surfers and of many articles in different forum on “the music from the week”.
