History

In this history, a village Gallic is divided into two camps, with two chiefs. The village itself is cut into two by a ditch. Astérix, Obélix and Panoramix are called in reinforcement to solve the conflict.

References

The scene where Comix comes to see Fanzine under its balcony, is inspired by the homonymic scene of the tragedy shakespearienne " Romeo and Juliette".

Anecdote

Thereafter, Albert Uderzo regretted having drawn realistic the Comix character in way, instead of making a caricature of it as it is generally the case.
