Created in 1977, the Large Book of the Month, is the only French club of literary news and proposes each year 700 innovations, as of their publication in bookstore.
The members receive each month the Review of the Club with an exclusive selection of the best books of the moment.
The Large Book of the Month is composed of several clubs of books general practitioners and sets of themes:
To choose these books, the Club gathers, every week, a reading panel made up specialists, charged to select works of quality. In each Review, the literary committee elects best the best: the Book high-speed motorboat, proposed in negative option.
The members profit from reduction according to their fidelity with the Club as well as point-gifts allowing to obtain free books quickly.
From the financial point of view the Large Book of the Month depends on the German group Bertelsmann since the withdrawal of the French Club of the book.
