The Large-Village-Beach

the Large-Village-Beach is a common French, located in the department of the Charente-Maritime and the area Poitou-Charentes.

Geography

In edge of the saline marshes transformed into oyster beds, in the Southern half of the Island of Oléron, The Large-Village-Beach doubles the old borough of Small village.

Creation of the commune in 1951 following its scission of the commune of Saint-Trojan-the-Baths
