the Lame one of Warsaw is a series of four novels of Juliette Benzoni appeared of 1994 to 1996 published with the Plon Editions, then out of pocket at Pocket.
This series puts in scene Prince Aldo Morosini which became after the First World War an antique dealer specialized in the old jewels.
A mysterious man called the Lame one of Warsaw charges it with one at the same time delicate and dangerous mission: to find four of the twelve stones of pectoral Large Priest of the Temple of Jerusalem. Since they were flights, these stones (a Saphir, a Diamant, a Opale and a Rubis sowed all death around them.
Morosini all the more accepts this mission that one of these jewels, the Blue Star, belonged to his/her mother until one assassinates it for flying to him. Prince Vénitien hopes that by continuing this search, it will be able to discover the identity of the assassin of its mother and to exert on him her revenge.
