" The Lady off Shalott" (the Lady of Shalott) is a romantic Poème of the poet English Alfred Tennyson (1809 - 1892). Like other old poems " Sir Lancelot, and Queen Guenièvre " , and " Galahad "- the poem recalls a history arthurienne freely inspired by medieval sources and takes again certain topics which will off be carried out in a more complete way in Idylls the King where the tale of Élaine is told.
