The Klondike Kid

The Klondike Kid is a cartoon of Mickey Mouse produces by Walt Disney for United Artists and left the November 12th 1932.

Synopsis

Mickey is player of piano in a bar of the area of the Klondike to the Canada. It carries help to Minnie, shocked and with refrigerated half. Arrive then in waterspout Pegleg Pierre, coldly gone down from its sledge, which after a confrontation with the gun, kidnaps Minnie. Mickey continues it on board its sledge, trails by Pluto. Pegleg Pierre arrives to his hut and cuts off itself there. The battle continues, Mickey besieging the kidnapper. During this time, Pluto, which had left to the continuation a rabbit which lives in the vicinity, causes the formation of an enormous snowball, which finally destroyed the hut and captures the kidnapper.

This film left at the same date as The Whoopee Party , a first for the Disney studios. Moreover, it takes again a scenario close to the stories such as The Gallopin' Gaucho (1928) or The Cactus Kid (1931), but by reversing the initial roles: this time, it is Mickey which is in the bar, and Minnie which “joined it”.

This film is located in the area Aurifère Klondike, which will be regularly used in the stories of the universe of Donald Duck, and particularly those with Picsou.
