The King of the alders (Romance)

the King of the alders is a novel of Michel Tournier published in 1970 in connection with the Germany, the seduction of the force by the Nazis then the ablation of his oriental party.

It received the same year the Prix Goncourt unanimously of the jury.

It inspired a film éponyme, turned by Volker Schlöndorff in 1996, with John Malkovich, Marianne Sägebrecht, Volker Spengler, Dieter Laser, Daniel Smith, Thierry Monfray and Agnès Soral.
