The King of the Mississippi

the King of the Mississippi is a history in Cartoon of Keno Don Rosa. She is the second episode of the Youth of Picsou . She puts in scene Balthazar Picsou and her uncle John McPicsou; the hero meets there for the first time in the chronology of Youth the Rapetou and the inventor Gregoire Trouvetou, whose Géo Trouvetou is the downward one.

Synopsis

In 1880, Balthazar Picsou left the Scotland for the America. It leaves to research his uncle John McPicsou, brother of Fergus and come to the the United States to try to make fortune. It is at the time of the 6th annual Derby of the Kentucky that Balthazar will meet his/her uncle with the Poker Saloon.

Thereafter, the history leads Balthazar to discovered of Drennan Whyte, the boat which John ordered and who transported $100 000 in gold ingots which sank in the the Mississippi. A race between Picsou, the swindler Porcine Oscar and Rapetou will take place to find the disappeared boat.
