Synopsis

The history takes seat at the beginning of the century in China. Wang Bianlian, the king of the masks, is an old man who saw spectacles of street where it surprises by his ability to change mask. It decides to transmit its art and adopts a child. But only the men can practice this art, and he discovers a little late that his/her child is a girl.
