The King Lion 2: Honor of the tribe

the King Lion 2: Honor of the tribe (or the King Lion 2: The pride of Simba to the Quebec) is the 56e feature film of animation of the studios Disney. Left directly in video in 1998, it is the continuation of the King Lion (1994). A third shutter, the King Lion 3: Hakuna Matata left also directly in video in 2004.

Synopsis

All the animals of savanna meet to celebrate the birth of Kiara, the girl of Simba and Nala. This small lioness is rather adventurous. One day, it distorts company with Timon and Pumbaa, charged to supervise it. It penetrates then on the territory of the Outlaws and meets Kovu a young lion. This one is the son of Zira, the ex-partner of Scar. This one imagined a diabolic plan to eliminate Simba so that Kovu takes its place as a king.

Later the two lion cubs become adult play and are taken in a fire touching savanna. Kovu saves Kiara giving a good reason to be accepted on the territory of Simba which remains being wary. One day, Simba takes along his/her cousin out of the Earth of the lions but they are surprised by Zira and its accomplices. At the time of the brawl which follows, Nuka, the brother of Kovu, is killed by a fall of tree trunks. Convinced that Kovu betrayed it, Simba condemns it to the exile with the great despair of Kiara. The young lioness flees and finds his/her friend in savanna. The herd of the Outlaws starts a new general brawl. Kiara and Kovu interpose to reason their respective tribes. Zira is thrown then on Simba to kill that which made it widowed. Kiara fights then against Zira which falls from a cliff and drowns. The two herds are then joined together under the direction of Kiara and Kovu.

Just like the King Lion partly took as a starting point the part Hamlet of William Shakespeare, the King Lion 2: The honor of the tribe takes as a starting point another part by this English playwright, Romeo and Juliette . Indeed, the King Lion 2: The honor of the tribe tells the history of two rival families: inhabitants of the " Ground Of Lions" (" Pridelanders" in VO) and the inhabitants of the " Interdites" grounds; (" Outlanders" in VO). Become adult, Kiara and Kovu, which are the main characters of film, live, like Juliette and Romeo, a love made impossible by hatred opposing their respective families.
