The the Jura souabe (out of ale. Schwäbische Alb ) is an assembly line of the south-west of the Germany.
Geography
The Jura souabe extends since the depression from Laugh towards south-west. The
Albtrauf, its north-western slope, separates the plate from the
Albvorland . The Jura Souabe is limited to south-east by the
the Danube and the
Hegau. Towards south-west, its border coincides with that of the speeches souabes between Tuttlingen and Spaichingen, although one often included there areas located beyond this limit. Thus, this chain extends on 200 km of south-west in the North-East, with a maximum width of 40 km in its central part.
From the geological point of view, the Jura Souabe is attached to the west-Germanic Cuesta. It is a component of the Tafeljura , included/understood between Basle and the depression of Laugh, and which itself forms, with the the Jura folded and the the Jura franconien, the the Jura between Geneva and Cobourg.
