Synopsis

Joseph Herdsman, a former sergeant of infantry reformed because of his crises of violence, cuts down its been engaged which wants to leave it and tries to commit suicide. She survives and he also, in spite of the two balls which he placed in the head. Simple and exalté spirit, nourished anarchistic slogans, it becomes wandering when it is released from asylum where its gesture carried out it. Comments

Michel Galabru shows in this film the true extent of his talent and gives to his character a seizing realism. Galabru becomes Bouvier until the end of the nails, the service is impressive almost beyond any control. Galabru was rewarded very precisely for this role by the César for the best actor in 1977.
