Synopsis

Divorced, mother of two young children, Josey Aimes regained her native village of Minnesota in the search of an employment. Work harassing, but is well remunerated there, and one is ensured to be made there solids relations, for little which one respects the values and traditions passeists of this medium. Because the mine is a male stronghold, where the rare women expose themselves to mistrust, even to the hostility, of a certain number of minors who judge that they do not have their place there and see in them only potential competitors, ready to charm their employment to them. Josey, like his/her partners, is thus ridges some with the ill will of the " strong têtes" , with their jokes of a doubtful taste, with their insinuations salaces, their operations of harassing, which quickly become to him intolerable. But nobody wants to hear his protests. For the hierarchy, for his/her parents, his/her partners and even for her nearer friendly, deputy trade-union Glory, nothing must disturb the balance and the rules of the institution. Josey is invited to hold head, to keep silence, to make pretense of nothing… But the incidents multiply, and the pressure assembles day in day, until the young woman tries the unthinkable one: to carry the business in front of justice. An act of distrust without precedent which will upset its life and will change the face of justice…
