the Island with the flowers ( Ilha das Flora ) is a Brazilian Short film documentary carried out by Jorge Furtado, left in 1989.

Synopsis

Twelve minutes: it is the time during which we follow the course of a tomato, since its production in the plantation of Mr. Suzuki, up to his point of arrival, refuse tip of the island to the Flowers. Film lampoon, systematic and squeaking, this short film denounces the under-humanity which involves the market economy and the 22% the Brazilian ones which die of hunger.
