The Institut National de Statistique and of Economy Applied

Created by Royal Decree in 1967, the Institut National de Statistique and of Economy Applied ( INSEA ) replaced the Training center of Engineers of Statistical Work which was born in 1961 thanks to the support of the Economic commission for Africa (ECA).

Since its creation, the INSEA always had an international dimension as well on the plan of the allowed students as on that of the institutions with which it maintains the cooperative relations. It trains national and foreign senior executives occupying of the positions of responsibility in the administrations and the economic sectors.

The INSEA proposes a high level formation which gives a place equal to the statistics and the economic analysis, and offers a very pointed specialization in the fields of data processing, finance and the actuary profession, demography as well as operations research.

The graduates of the INSEA have competences which enable them to practice the analysis and the economic forecast, the engineering of the information systems and the statistical expertise, but they are also able to develop models sophisticated to improve the analysis of the markets, to refine the targets in marketing, and to measure the risks in a variety of fields.

In addition, the formation with the INSEA is not limited to the technical sides and of design, but it also extends to management, the communication and the good knowledge of the socio-economic and political environment. The prizes winner of the INSEA, brought to play a part strategic with various stages of the process of economic development and social, make career in the public sector, the local government agencies and the private sector: banks, insurances and large companies national and multinational.
