The Indian Runner

The Indian Runner is a written American film, carried out and produced by Sean Penn left in 1991.

The history is the development of the song Highway Patrolman of Bruce Springsteen.

Synopsis

1968. Joe Roberts and his young Frank brother grew in Plattsmouth, in Nebraska. Children, they are very close. Frank, violent and undisciplined, is a teenager with problems then he leaves for Vietnam. Joe, missed farmer, becomes police officer. The very same day where Joe, in a state of self-defense, had to kill a delinquent, Frank returns from Vietnam. Joe preaches the traditional values of his country while Frank seeks a direction which is not absurd with its life.

" Indian Runner" is inspired by an old Indian legend on the test which young people must pass to enter the adulthood.
