The Indian Family
the Indian Family ( Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham , in Hindi कभीखुभीकभीग़म, that one can translate by “Sometimes the smiles, sometimes tears”) is an Indian film carried out by Karan Johar, left in India in 2001.
Synopsis
Yashvardan Raichand (Amitabh Bachchan) is an Indian business man immensely rich and powerful. At the dawn of its 50 years, it prepares his oldest son, Rahul (Shahrukh Khan), to take its succession. But when he learns that Rahul attends Anjali (Kajol), a modest young woman of condition, and the intention does not have at all to marry Naina (Rani Mukerji, daughter-in-law ideal in her eyes, Yashvardan Raichand is if disappointed that he disavows Rahul and family home drives out it. Ten years later, Rohan (Hrithik Roshan), the younger brother of Rahul, learns all the history. It then decides to find Rahul, left to live with London with Anjali, and to make any possible sound so that the family is again joined together. Pooja (Kareena Kapoor) called " Poo" assistance in its company.
