The Incorruptible ones of Chicago

the Incorruptible ones of Chicago ( Crime Story ) is a Televised series American in a 90 minute old pilot and 42 44 minutes episodes, created by Chuck Adamson and Gustave Reininger and diffused between the September 18th 1986 and the May 10th 1988 on the network NBC. In France, the series was diffused to suffer of October 1st 1988 on Antenne 2.

Synopsis

This series puts in scene, in the Années 1960 with Chicago, the tracking of the gangster Ray Luca by the police officer Mike Torello.

Comments

This series, produced by Michael Mann, with which one owes to Two cops in Miami , was qualified by Time Magazine , during its diffusion, of “detective series the most authentic sight for a long time”. The intrigues are well tied up, the realization is looked after, in particular the pilot whom one owes with Abel Ferrara, and the music, very effective.

One of the reasons of the authenticity of the series is due to the fact that the main actor, Dennis Farina, had been police officer during about fifteen year in the town of Chicago, before becoming actor.

However, the series did not convince the public and it stopped after two seasons.
