The Hospital-of-Face-and-Saint-Gilles

the Hospital-of-Face-and-Saint-Gilles is old a Commune Frenchwoman north of the Département of Maine-et-Loire which existed during about fifteen years at the end 18th and at the beginning of the 19th century. It was located between Pouancé and Segré.

The common one was created by the fusion of the two transitory communes of Hospital-of- theFace and Saint-Gilles, before 1794. In 1808, the common one was joined together with that of Grugé to form the new commune of Notched-the Hospital, which was called Notched-the Hospital-Saint-Gilles between 1808 and 1851.

Today, Saint-Gilles (in the North-East) and the Hospital (in the east, on the road of Face) are two hamlets depending on the commune on Notched-the Hospital.
