the Hole is a Franco-Italian Film carried out by Jacques Becker and left in 1960.

Synopsis

Gaspard is transferred in a new cell from the prison from the Health, in which he learns that its fellows-prisoner decided to escape. Gaspard takes part in the digging of the tunnel, binds friendship with his/her new comrades, but, learning that it will be released, betrays them, the their escape day before.
