The Happy new year

the Happy new year is a film carried out by Claude Lelouch.

Synopsis

A gangster (Lino Ventura) prepares, with his accomplice (Charles Gerard), which it describes as “first psychological holdup of the history of the banditism”. Just beside the jewelry Van Cleef & Arpels, on the Small cross, with Cannes, the shop of a beautiful antique dealer (Francoise Fabian) is who attracts the glance of the shady.

The burglar and the antique dealer éprennent one of the other. It is sympathetic nerve but without refinement, it is cultivated and independent but discovers in contact with Simon that the vanity of its medium weighs to him, and that it wishes a history of simple and frank love. The plan of the holdup which the burglar prepares lengthily is sophisticated hardly more than its operations of seduction.
