The Grudge 3

The Grudge 3 is the continuation of The Grudge 2 , planned for 2008.

Comment

During the post-production of The grudge 2, ideas were discussed by Takashi Shimizu to do one 3rd film, “during the meeting of manuscript, our ideas did not go anywhere and were not all very good, and we could not propose something interesting to stop the curse, thus if it is the case, we would go rather just for something which could never not be stopped. But which knows, perhaps something can be stopped in The grudge 3. During Comic Idiot 2006, Sony officially announced plans to create the continuation. Takashi Shimizu stated that one had proposed to him to carry out the continuation but which he would rather prefer to produce the film.

During the promotion of the film 30 Days in Night of which he is producer, Sam Raimi announced that the scenario of The Grudge 3 was in the course of writing. He as said as he was unaware of if Sarah Michelle Gellar would be of return for this 3rd opus.
