The Great Gig in the Sky

The Great Gig in the Sky is a song of the group of progressive Rock Britannique Pink Floyd. It off appears on the album The Dark Side the Moon in 1973.

It is in fact a vocal improvisation of Clare Torry, the group having a musical base composed by Richard Wright and seeking a voice to affix on the track. This singer was introduced to them, and this one, before recording, accepted the order to think of the horror, death, and to sing. After the catch, it left and was excused, thinking badly of having sung. However, the depth and the quality of the song of Clare Torry realize a piece of it taking and enivrant.

It was paid 30 £ for the sound recording, with the result that it will enter later in conflict with EMI for touching royalties.
