the Goose that lays the golden eggs is the title of two different television games diffused at two different times.

The first was diffused in Radio-Canada of 1958 to 1966 and was animated by Roger Baulu (replaced by Doris Lussier for the last season), accompanied by Rene Charon and two hostesses. Two competitors must answer five questions, which are worth each one a certain silver amount. The winner must then choose an envelope randomly containing a price of a lower value, equal or higher than the profit obtained previously. With its total profits, the competitor will be able to buy an egg, randomly selected, and containing a price. Here it is vis-a-vis two possibilities: either it loses all (or gains only one trifle), or it gains a price of great value.

Second is diffused with VAT Wednesday with 19:30 (19 H before January 2006) since September 1993. It is about a play of Lotto-Quebec, animated by Guy Mongrain (helped of Julie Naud and Lyne Laramée), who offers a minimum first prize of 100.000 $ and which increases by 25.000 $ with each emission if he is not gained. Three games are played each emission for a total of six competitors. For more details, to see the bond below.
