the film is drawn from a novel has suspense of Todd Strasser
- the principal goal was to make play Macaulay Culkin only twelve years old in against employment: that of a kid psychopathe.
- criticism has its exit had the hard tooth with this film showing the realizer to have carried out a series B and not a film has suspense like was the novel. Joseph Ruben had held so that the film is at the same time distressing, psychological and especially tragedy, thus the scene of the end diverted of them more one.
