The Goblins (subway of Paris)

the Goblins is a station of the Métro of Paris on the line 7, located at the limit of the 5 {{E}} and 13 {{E}} districts.

The station

It was inaugurated the February 15th 1930 during the prolongation of the line 10 towards the Place of Italy. One year later, it was integrated into line 7.

History and environment

  • This station bears the name of famous the Manufacture of the Goblins installed since the 15th century at the edge of the Bièvre.
  • the station is located at cross of four large Parisian arteries: the Avenue of the Goblins, the Holy Boulevard Marcel, the Arago Boulevard and the Boulevard of Port-Royal.
