The Gits
The Gits was a group of music punk-rock'n'roll of Seattle of 1986 with 1993. Formed in 1986 and originating in Ohio, it was composed of the singer Mia Zapata, the guitarist Joe Spleen, the bass player Matthew Fred Dresdner and the beater Steve Moriarty. The group separates in 1993, following the Viol and with the Meurtre of its singer, crimes which will be elucidated more than ten years later, in 2004.
The members remaining of the group formed Dancin french liberals of' 48 with Joe Spleen with the song. They left an album Powerline in 1995. They also carried out several concerts under the name of Evil stig with Joan Jett with the song in order to collect funds to find the meurtier of Mia.
