Synopsis

In 1939, Patricia, the girl of the shaft sinker Pascal Amoretti, finds herself pregnant of Jacques Mazel, a young aviator, wire of good family. However this one is mobilized and his/her parents refuse to recognize the child. Amoretti drives out his/her daughter of the house. A little later Jacques Mazel is reported missing, his plane being crushed in flames behind the German lines. Then the armistice occurs…
