The General Cortes
The the Cortes Generales are the Parlement kingdom of Spain established by the constitution of 1978. It is a bicameral body including/understanding the Congrès of the deputies and the Sénat.
In representation of the Spanish people, they exert the essential aspects of national sovereignty: they are invested Legislative power, approve the general budgets of the State, they control the action of the Government, and carry out the remainder of functions which allots the constitution to them.
