The French Hunter
the French Hunter is a Magazine monthly French primarily turned towards the Chasse, the fishing, the Bricolage, the traditions French and known for its matrimonial classifieds. It belongs to Mondadori France.
Since April 2006, Philippe coll is editor association of the French Chasseur . With a diffusion France paid of 491.861 specimens in 2005 (OJD), it is the fifth French monthly magazine in diffusion. In 2000, paid the France diffusion was of 535.441 specimens.
Founded in 1885 by the French company Manufrance, it then passed under control of several successive financial groups of 1981 to 1990, before being repurchased by Emap in partnership with Bayard Presse. In 1995, it is integrated in the Natural Media structure (Emap/Bayard).
In June 2001, Emap became the single shareholder of the magazine by repurchasing for 175,2 franc million the participation of Bayard in their Natural Media joint venture with the whole of its titles.
It belongs to the “natural” pole of the group Mondadori/Emap France, which gathers the magazines Big game , the Friend of the gardens , the national Review of hunting , Fishing & the fish , the French Hunter and Pêche fly .
