The Flying Lizards is a group of Rock of Avant-garde English credit of 1979 with 1984.
Biography
The first album of the group entitled
The Flying Lizards left in
1979 and included/understood resumptions of standards of the rock'n'roll (
Money ,
Summertime Blues of
Eddie Cochran) and several original compositions.
Money , taken again song of Barrett Strong is regularly used by the tévision or the cinema (for example in
Nip/Tuck ,
Lord off War ,
Charlie' S Angels ). Their second album
Fourth wall contains the famous resumption of Curtis Mayfield
Move one up .
Top Ten is their third opus, only made up of recoveries (whose sulfurous version of James Brown
Sex Machine ), the group still accentuated the dimension désaffectivée, minimalist and robotized of their music. The group stopped its activities about the middle of the Eighties. A last album of
Dub S was born later several years.
