Synopsis
October 27th, 2005, Clichy-sous-Bois. Young people dispute part of foot on a sports ground. A few hours later, at the fallen night, one of them, Muhittin Altun, wander, seriously flaring, in edge of the district. The teenager, 17 years old, is the only survivor of a race-continuation which led it, like two of his comrades pursued by the police force, to find refuge in the enclosure of an electric transformer. Zyed, 17 years, and Bouna, 15 years, died electrocuted. The account of Muhittin on the circumstances, tragedies, of their death causes the first night of riots in Clichy. A little later whereas the Minister of Interior Department gives his version of the facts which accuses the young people and which violence spreads in the suburbs, a Belgian journalist, Alex Martens, arrives on the spot of the drama. Charged with covering the events, it directs its investigation into the real causes of died of Zyed and Bouna…
