The First prize

the First prize ( Christmas in July ) is a film written and carried out by Preston Sturges in 1940. It is the adaptation of its part written in 1931, has Cup Coffee off.

Synopsis

An young man, Jimmy MacDonald took part in a contest of slogan organized by a coffee mark and hopes to gain one of the prices, the first being of 25.000$. His/her colleagues decide to make him a joke while making him believe that it gained the contest. Jimmy decides to buy full with gifts for its family of which the first will be a ring for its promised in marriage Betty Casey. When it realizes of trickery, Jimmy is desperate and Betty too. The jury of the contest which was long in deliberating because of one sworn, Mr. Bildocker, then announces the big winner who is not other than Jimmy.
