The First Invention of Géo Trouvetou

the First Invention of Géo Trouvetou is a history in Cartoon of Keno Don Rosa. She puts in scene Balthazar Picsou with her nephews Donald Duck, Riri, Fifi and Loulou, like Géo Trouvetou and Filament. She is held with Donaldville.

This history was written for the 50e birthday of the creation of Géo Trouvetou by Carl Barks.

Synopsis

Little time after the “great catastrophe” during which Picsou saw its fortune carried in a deep hole and separated from moving sands by a fine crust of rocks, it lives with the hook of its nephew Donald, for lack of liquidities. Donald will make repair a lamp at Fulton Trouvetou and discovers that this last took its retirement and leaves the place to his/her son Géo. However, Géo did not still invent anything which functions.

Donald with the idea to seek a solution to him to save the fortune of Picsou. Curiously, while they confer some, the broken lamp is put to have a strange behavior, as if it were endowed with intelligence.

This history corresponds to the need to mark the birthdays of characters of the universe of Donald Duck: like Day of bad luck for the 50e birthday of Gontran Happiness. It makes it possible Don Rosa to give an origin to Filament and to develop the relation between the small machine and Donald, relation of competition already seen in temporal Fracture . Donald with the character soup with milk badly agrees to be preceded by a so small being, which was its lamp.
