the Filiation of the man and the selection related to the sex ( The Descent off Man, and Selection in Relation to Sex ) is a book of the British naturalist Charles Darwin, published in 1871 and treating application of the theory of the evolution, in particular with the Espèce Humain E.

It is about the second important work of Darwin on the evolution, succeeding the origin of the species published in 1859. The author explicitly described there the application of his theory to the human evolution and specifies the theory of the sexual Sélection there. The book approaches a certain number of related subjects, of which what will become at the time modern the evolutionary Psychologie, the ethical evolutionary, human differences between Race S, the sexual Dimorphisme human, and relevance of the evolutionary theory for the company.
