the Fever of Saturday evening ( Saturday Night Fever ) is an American film of John Badham left in 1977.

Synopsis

Tony Manero, a Italian-American young person 19 years, tries to decorate its dull existence with New York thanks to its talents of dancer while going each Saturday evening in a box Disco where he is the king of the festival.

Comment

The film was one of the principal vectors of the international diffusion of the music and the mode Disco, John Travolta while becoming the icon. On her side, the original soundtrack of film, made up of songs of the Bee Gees was sold to 20 million specimens throughout the world, a record which was beaten only 6 years later by the album Thriller of Michael Jackson. This film popularized the term Night Fever .
