The Ferté-Bernard is located at the east of the Sarthe, the intersection of the Flowering ash and the Eure-et-Loir. It is called Venice of the West because of its many mazes of rivers in its center (in particular the Huisne and the Même). With his two artificial lakes, his church and his historical center, the Ferté-Bernard became an arts center and tourist.
