The Fall of the red sledge
the Fall of the red sledge ( Red Sleigh Down in original version) is the seventeenth and last episode of the sixth season of the animated series South Park .
Synopsis
Cartman is very tended. It made too many ill deeds to hope to have Cadeau X with this Christmas. It then tries to repurchase into convincing the Father Noë L to bring Christmas in Iraq. Unfortunately, this one is crushed in its Traîneau on Baghdad.
Comment
The morals of the episode is tinted of irony. Indeed, Christmas is supposed to celebrate the birth of Jesus, not his death. The Father Christmas seems to insinuate that the true values of Christmas disappeared. During all the episode for example, Cartman does not think that has its toys, and people do not even try hard to listen to a Christmas carol certainly sung by a Handicapé, and not inevitably pleasant to listen - but that constitutes a good allegory owing to the fact that those which transmit the message of Christmas and those who receive it do not know any more why.
Iraqi is very parodic also. The counterpart “American wants to kill my wife and my children. I must know their plans! ” is relatively cynical. It is interesting to note that integrist Iraqi compares the Father Christmas to the the United States, whereas actually the Father Christmas is a pagan symbol (the only thing of American in the Father Christmas it is the color of its tunic.)
