Synopsis

Charlie Chaplin is on a boat with other immigrants bound for New York. During the voyage, it meets an young woman who deals with her sick mother. Chaplin arrives at New York but it does not have money nor of work. It finds a part by ground and decides to go to the restaurant. It finds there the woman of the boat which is very sad because it is guessed that his/her mother died…
