The Eaglet

the Eaglet is a drama of Edmond Rostand writes in 1900.

“Eaglet” designates the son of Napoleon I {{er}} (the eagle) and of Marie-Louise of Austria, also known like king de Rome and Napoleon II.

In this drama in six acts, written in alexandrines, the Eaglet, sons of Napoleon, seek who it is compared to his father, and seek to go in its traces and not to be " a face which is stuck to vitres".

Among the remarkable scenes, one can note the last scene of act III

The role of the Duc of Reichstadt (the eaglet) is created by the actress Sarah Bernhardt, the March 15th 1900.
